After finishing up a Masters degree in Tourism Development from the University of Surrey in 2010, I found myself full of new innovative ideas, but no place to share and express them. That, coupled with unemployment (so a lot of free time on my hands) led me to create this blog, Travel with Lizzie. While the mission of the blog will likely grow and change over the course of its inception, the main idea is to write about sustainable tourism.

The average person doesn’t even know what sustainable tourism is, or what it means. So, my mission is to start to create a discussion about it to get people thinking. And, I’ll do my best to make it enjoyable to read. Because really, who wants to read boring nonsense on the web.
